# Homework 1 — Radar Fundamentals

HW1 is an individual, guided walkthrough of one complete detection-range calculation — the same physics as Project 1, but on rails: a single condition (**Condition Alpha**, $45^\circ$ aspect) carried end-to-end from RCS lookup through the range equation to a defended number. Ten numeric-answer questions, graded binary (right/wrong) with one regrade request per question.

Working the homework before L10 is the best possible Quiz 1 preparation: the quiz draws on exactly this calculation chain.
